“We’re engaged… now what?!”

First of all, congrats 🤍 This season is so sweet and somehow also a little overwhelming all at once.
If you’re staring at Pinterest wondering where to even begin, here’s a simple place to start:
1️⃣ Pick a month or season you love
Don’t stress the exact date yet, let venue + vendor availability help narrow that down
2️⃣ Tour some venues
Seeing spaces in person makes everything feel way more real (and helps a ton with dates). Also keep in mind an estimated guest count
3️⃣ Once a venue feels like the one, reach out to your photographer + videographer
Bring a couple possible dates and see who you truly connect with, that part matters
4️⃣ After your date is set, book your main vendors
Florist, caterer, DJ, hair + makeup, things start falling into place here
5️⃣ Start working on the guest list + bridal party (if you’re having one)
Not gonna lie… this part can be tricky 😅 Take your time
6️⃣ Go dress shopping
Ordering + alterations take longer than you think, ask bridal stores their available timelines & future you will be thankful
7️⃣ Plan your engagement session + send save the dates
Usually about 6–10 months before the wedding is perfect
8️⃣ And truly… enjoy being engaged.
This is such a special little window of life. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just meaningful 🤍
